Parent Coordinator

I have worked in the New York City public school system for more than 30 years, beginning my career as a paraprofessional and continuing my commitment to supporting students and families in meaningful ways.

In my role, I work closely with parents and guardians to help them stay informed, connected, and engaged in their children’s education. I assist families with navigating school resources, understanding academic expectations, and building strong partnerships with teachers and staff. I also help organize workshops, family events, and our monthly Parent Association meetings, which provide important updates, helpful information, and opportunities for parents to share their voices and ideas.

I strongly encourage all parents and guardians to participate in school activities and attend Parent Association meetings whenever possible. When families stay involved and connected, it strengthens our school community and helps create greater opportunities for student success. My goal is to ensure that every family feels welcomed, supported, and empowered to play an active role in their child’s educational journey.
