City Polytechnic High School Of Engineering, Architecture, And Technology

Welcome To City Polytechnic High School!

Welcome Class of 2021 & 2023

Dear City Poly Scholar and Family:

On June 3rd, we welcomed 56 students and their families for the incoming Class of 2021 and 2023. Special thanks to all parents, faculty members, and students who were able to attend and participate in the learning sessions and guided tours. We hope that everyone enjoyed the student presentation hosted by the City-Poly Step Team and appreciate the perseverance of our incoming students to complete their Reading and Math Inventories. If you were unable to attend or would like to reference the materials shared, please visit www.citypolyhs.org and click on the “Welcome Class of 2021 and 2023” link.

As a part of the Early College model, we invite all scholars to participate in our Summer Bridge Program at City Polytechnic High School (CPHS). The purpose is to give students an opportunity to successfully transition from middle school to high school in a closed, structured and supervised environment. In addition to the Common Core Algebra 1 course, students will participate in other activities designed to build academic skills and create a sense of community. Statistics have consistently shown that students who attend summer enrichment programs complete more classes, achieve higher grade point averages, have lower dropout rates and higher graduation rates than similar students who do not attend such programs. After completing these programs, students are more confident and self-assured both academically and socially.

We hope that your child will be able to benefit from this opportunity. Please submit the Summer Bridge 2017 Registration Form by Wednesday, June 28th via email at parents@citypolyhs.org or by fax to (718) 875-1947. Late registration ends on Thursday, July 6th.
